This week at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) #PowerXChange and #TechAdvantage, in Atlanta, our teams connected with industry peers, exchanged insights, and explored new opportunities to shape the future of energy infrastructure services with an emphasis on supporting electric cooperatives.

Electric cooperatives provide essential connectivity to rural communities with an emphasis on reliability and affordability. Their priorities, and our mission- connecting people to power- are just one reason why the National team was an ideal partner for an electric cooperative that serves the residents of seven counties in Texas’s Northeast Panhandle. Specifically, the National team was charged with building a new 115kv transmission line, installation of 25 steel poles that provide for increased longevity, reduced risk, and less maintenance, and stringing the wire crucial to electricity delivery.![]()

National’s seasoned crews worked through blistery winter conditions and took care not to disturb farmland. Despite the short timeline and weather, the team delivered the project on time and on budget, with mobilization and work complete in three weeks.
At National, we are an extension of our electric utility customers, and that includes a shared commitment to safety and training. That is why this week we hosted our Safety Reset Day, where our crews come together to ensure we are aligned on protocols, policies, and most importantly, protecting our people.![]()

For the second year in a row, our team put their names in ink on a banner that bears the promise Think SAFE HOME SAFE, committing to the principles it represents and to making safety personal. The banner will be displayed at our Arizona site as a daily reminder. A similar banner will travel to all our job sites where our teams will undergo specific training and double down on their commitment to go home safely to their loved ones every day.![]()
